Booking fees are charged according to the length of service.
A non refundable / non transferable booking fee is required to secure an appointment and is to be paid upon booking. No appointments are confirmed until a booking fee has been paid, and therefore will remain available to be booked by others. Should you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment, a new booking fee will be required to secure your new appointment.
Once an appointment has been secured with a booking fee, the remaining balance is to be paid in cash as VP Hair Art Co is independent to the rest of the salon, and there are no card machines to take payments on. The nearest cash point can be found a short walk from the salon on Colmore Row.
If you are new to VP Hair Art Co or have been instructed to do so, please ensure you are booked in for a consultation a minimum of 48 hours prior to your colour service to discuss your goals more in depth & allow ample time for an allergy tested too. It is important you attend as we are unable provide a colour service without a patch test prior
Failure to book/attend your consultation will result in loss of your booking fee & your colour service being cancelled.
Please be sure to attend your appointment alone and with a face covering where possible - we have removed our waiting area and are restricting the number of people within the salon. Anybody without an appointment will be asked to leave immediately.
Although our best efforts are made to ensure protective gowns and coverings are used to prevent damages to your clothing, a wide range of products and chemicals are used to carry out our services and so we cannot always guarantee staining and damages can be avoided.
We strongly recommend refraining from wearing valuable clothing or high/roll neck tops during colour services as VP Hair Art Co is not responsible for any damages made to articles of clothing, shoes, accessories or valuables.
Appointments are booked back to back and so it is crucial you arrive for your appointment on time.Late arrivals are disruptive to other appointments and so will not be accommodated as following appointments will be compromised. VP hair Art Co operates on a 15 minutes discretion from your scheduled appointment time.
If your arriving late means I can no longer carry out your service, your appointment will be cancelled and may not be rescheduled and your booking fee will be lost.
If your appointment is amended to a shorter / alternative service to accommodate your lateness or change of mind, you will still be charged for the full time and service
originally booked. You will not be able to rebook another appointment until this balance is settled.
There is a 0 tolerance policy for those who fail to attend appointments without prior
notice. The notice period for cancellations is a minimum of 72 hours. Appointments will be rescheduled once only, and a new booking fee will be required to secure your new appointment.
Failure to attend an appointment will result in automatic blacklisting, meaning you will not be able to book an appointment at VP Hair Art Co again.
Please transfer your booking fee within 90 minutes of receiving the booking information. If you exceed the the 90 minute period, you must re-enquire to ensure the appointment is still available to book. If you fail to re-enquire after the 90 minute period but proceed to send a booking fee and the appointment is no longer available, your booking fee will not be refunded.
Booking fees for next day appointments must be sent no later than 10pm the night before.
Once your booking fee has been received, your appointment will be scheduled for you and you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your appointment.
